Checkered Love

While browsing on Instagram I bumped into this fashion store @maisonshefali from Jaipur. I  went through their each post and found their design really incredible. With each design, there were inspiring quotes and one of the checkered midi dress 'Check the flower' really caught my eyes. Without any delay, I messaged the store if they can ship to Nepal and they replied,"Yes!! Of course". I gave them my body measurements and the dress arrived at my place within 2 weeks.

As soon as I put my hands on the midi dress, I felt nostalgic because it literally brought back too many memories of Jaipur. Spending my high school in the capital of Rajasthan was the best choice that I ever made and I would cherish every second spend there. I remember how I used to babble about style, clothes, my adventure and the gossips from the moon to the stars among my friends. And, the burning heat also made my memories lane refreshed once again. I always had an endless love for clothes, in their fabrics and the way different styles merged to make something new. Along with loving clothes, I always thought of writing in my own fashion section. But knowing that I have a straight body and not a unique style like other fashion bloggers and along with it, I don't have such courage to pose for pictures. I am usually the basic old boring chic, goofing around and posting crazy pictures.

As I was thinking about these kinds of stuff. I found a card from the store itself in between the clothes stating "Ignore the critics. Only mediocrity is safe from ridicule. Dare to be different." Dita Von Tesse. And, that particular line changed my mind.

Gathering all the effort. I called up my friend Kristina and talked about my plan for a fashion blog.

The next day, I donned up the midi dress, which had the finest cotton fabric and it hugged my body perfectly. The thin lace enriched the style more. If you are going out with your girlfriends for lunch or a casual day, midi dress is essential. I wore Bata slippers and a side purse from Atmosphere to complete the look.

And finally, here it is. The first ever fashion post on my website.
